Visa Application Process
Once accepted by a UAE university, international students must apply for a student residence visa, which allows them to study and live in Dubai/other emirates. :
- Receive Your University Admission & Visa Sponsorship: Acceptance Letter (from a UAE-accredited institution). University Visa Sponsorship (processed through your institution).
- Apply for Entry Permit: The university submits your visa application to UAE immigration, acting as your sponsor. Once approved, you will receive a 60-day entry permit to travel to Dubai and complete the final visa steps.
- Emirates ID & Biometrics: After the medical check, visit the Emirates ID Center to provide fingerprints and a photo. This is required to obtain your Emirates ID, which serves as your official identity card in Dubai.
